HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

This year James had to work so I took the kids trick or treating with my friend Andrea and her kids. I was so shocked how well the kids did. I thought they would only last for 5 houses, but we actually went around for an hour. The kids loved it, when we came to the houses that they let the kids choose what they wanted, Andee would always grab a handful of candy. Then try and go back for more, it was pretty funny. I'm pretty excited though because both of the kids' buckets are full of candy... more for James and I : )
What stinkers! These are the best shots I got of them, pretty sad. As soon as Nicholas saw the camara he would say "No, uh oh no" and then either turn away or turn around.

We have an OUCH! and a YAY!

Nicholas bumped his head on the nightstand after church and gashed it open pretty good. I started freaking out thinking I was going to have to take a trip to the ER but my father in law said all it needed was a little super glue. So he's as good as new, with a little oozing blood. Haha, so hopefully it will heal fast.

Our little Andee starts potty training today!! Yay we are so excited! She is already doing really good adapting to the little potty but we'll see. I heard of a way to potty train is to take away dipers and no pull-ups and by the end of the week, they'll be potty trained. So we'll see, this better work.

Our Little Monkey

This is Andee's new thing when we go outside
is climing Grandpa and Grandma's trees. As
soon as the door opens she darts for the trees.

the past couple of days...

The ward had a pumpkin patch party, and they had a table to decorate cookies. But we took our's home since I knew the kids would make a complete mess.

We only ended up staying at the party for 30 minutes because it was so cold outside. So here's Nick with his winter face on. It ended up snowing later that day too.

This is sort of random, but had to throw it in. Andee has this thing about biting her nails, and I just realized even her toe nails...gross.
Halloween Party
Andee was so good when it came to getting her face painted. She normally doesn't sit still long enough to do a dang thing. But she really liked it. The ward had a carnival set up with a blow up trampoline and I made the mistake of letting Andee start there. She didn't want to do anything else but that. And as usual, little Nicholas just stayed right by my side and didn't want to do anything.

Andee loved playing in the car, all the cousins would take turns pushing each other down the driveway.

VEGAS!!

Here's our hotel we stayed in. James got me this trip for my birthday, without the kids. So it was so much fun, and so relaxing being away for 5 days. Once we got here and walked down the strip, we noticed that "Phantom of the Opera" was playing at the Venetian, so we got tickets for my birthday. And holy crap, so amazing. Even James was surprised how good it was, that was his first time seeing it. So yes, that made my birthday. We were surprised how many things we got for free here too. We got free tickets to Nathan Burton's Magic show, 2 passes to ride on the New York New York rollercoaster and then free dinner at the America Restaurant. So we were pretty excited. We vowed that we have to do this atleast every 6 months, do a little get-away.

Our first day out for a stroll down the strip. Pretty sad when you're caught watching "Saved by the Bell" on T.V though..hehe.

We look pretty dang goofy. I was too embarrassed to ask someone to take our picture, so I did the honors. So sorry for the nostril pose. I was so looking forward to being able to lay out and not have to worry about the kids. But we ended up only going out to the pool for 30 minutes. There was just so much to do. You can lay out at any other place so it wasn't as fun.

James in front of the Venetian Hotel, such a gorgeous place to walk around.

Me posing like a typical tourist. Obviously in front of the Paris Hotel.

For my birthday we ate at the "Top of the World" at our hotel and it was absolutely amazing. But I couldn't look outside too much or else I would get motion sickness, pretty pathetic. But it was a really nice place. That was the first place I had ate at that served a four course meal.

On top of the Stratosphere looking out at the strip.

Gardner Village

This is always an interesting trip when we go to Gardner Village, the kids always seem bored and not interested in anything. But this was the first time I had the kids ride the pony and go in and pet all the animals. Nicholas hated the pony ride, he clung onto me the entire time, and once again I wonder why I pay for them to have fun when they'd just rather do something else that was free.

Our first picture together since our wedding... how sad.

Our little family

Here's the family. We currently live in Pleasant Grove, Utah, temporarily with James' parents. We've lived in Utah now for two and a half years. In the short amount of time we've moved six times. We're trying to find a place that we can call home. Hopefully soon because I'm sick of moving! James and I have been married for 4 years. Andee will be 3 on Nov. 13, and Nicholas will be 2 on Nov. 1st = 11 months apart. So at times it gets a bit hectic around here. We have been blessed with two very stubborn children with a mind of their own.
