Nick's two favs..

The first thing Nick asks when he wakes up is to watch Cars. Then if he sees his hat, he puts it on, and wears it all day until bathtime. Nick also loves to play with the cars on Grandma's car track.

Nick and Mommy Time

Nick loves helping me walk Andee down to the bus, so after Andee leaves for school, we get the dogs out and walk around outside for awhile. It's nice to have a break with one less child to have to keep an eye on. Nick loves the outside, if I let him, he would spend all day outside. He loves to walk around pulling his little wagon everywhere he goes. And today was such a pretty day so it's exciting that winter is over finally!

OUCH!

Before.. 2 inch scar.. sorry very blurry, but you can still kind of see it

After... now 3.5 inches...wow this time hurt worse than last time. He poked me on one side, then while the needle is inside, he pokes another 3 times. Then repeats that on the other side. And this time he didn't numb it good enough so while he was putting in the stiches, I could feel all the pokes that were on the outside...yeah so not fun. He's sending the area he cut back into the lab, so let's hope this time it comes back that he got enough off. Because I'm refusing to go through this again. And this happened all because I thought that going tanning was making me look better. After high school I went tanning 7x a week, that's all I could think about. And I just figured that if I was going to get skin cancer, it wouldn't come up until I was 50 or 60 and by then I wouldn't care. But I never thought I could be possibly getting it before I was 25. So to all of you who think tanning is making you look better, and you'll be lucky at not getting skin cancer...it's not worth the risk. And now I'll be stuck with this 3.5 inch scar on my stomach, so no more bikini's for me.

Bugs!

Today James took Andee out to go find bugs. She came running inside with her jar full of bugs. She was so excited but then noticed that they were moving inside and threw the jar. Lately the kids have been so obsessed with bugs. If they see a mark on the wall, they yell "a bug!". And then they go around the house pointing to all the "bugs". But when they actually find a real bug they completely freak out. I hope this doesn't mean when Andee grows up she will have an extreme case of bug phobia..hehe.

Andee's jar of bugs. When Nick woke up from his nap he wanted the top to come off, so James took out a snail and put it in his hand and Nick didn't like that very much. He tried to get it off but of course it stuck to his hand so he started freaking out. Very cute, these are the moments I absolutely love.

A Picnic at the Canyon

I dont know what I was thinking but I didn't clean off his face before the picture. But it's only a cracker, not a booger.

Andee started off with carrying the entire package of her lunch with her and then Max realized what she had and ate it. So she thought this plan would work better. She will put about anything in her little pockets. Marbles, beads, and treats that I have no clue where she found them.

It was still pretty snowy up in the canyon but it was still nice and warm. Well not warm, just not really cold. The picnic tables were all under snow, but we found one that the top and the bench tops were uncovered. We just put the blanket down and sat on top of the table, the kids loved it. Here's Andee being so sweet and helping Nicholas across the bridge, since it was pretty slippery.

We decided to bring the dogs with us since they are so neglected now. And man, it was such a pain to bring them in the car. I thought if I just put a blanket down over me, they would just stay on the blanket so nicely...um no. Most the time I was pinned up against the chair with a boxer's tail sticking me in the eye or nose...yeah gross. I was covered in hair. And they are a lot bigger in a Altima then just running around. It was a pretty funny experience, but never again. But they had fun, running up and down the mountain through the snow, so it was nice. That way I won't have to give them a walk tonight..yay!

Another update...

So we decided not to move to Arizona AGAIN. This was our second time deciding to move and backing out, but this time it's for sure. We're actually looking into buying a home close to James' work so that way we spend less on gas. Right now he has a total of 2 hour commute and hates it. And today, my little Mary tried to get out again, but this time it was a little scary since she tried to get out where the fence has this big post sticking way up, so I go out there because I heard her barking in a different way and she was practically hanging and had almost torn her toe nail off and was bleeding. So the dogs are ready to move and be out of the mud/poop..hehe gross.

A little update..

I didn't realize how long it had really been since I last posted. Sorry for all of you four people that read my blog..hehe. To start with January, I had a mole removed that my doctor thought looked "suspicious". Which was more painful than having babies! I couldn't believe it. From the poke of the needle down the recovery it wasn't fun. So I was glad to be done with it....so I thought. My doctor called me two weeks later informing me that the mole wasn't cancerous but it definitely would've turned into it down the road so he was glad I had it removed. So now I have to go in on Tuesday to get a centimeter removed on each side of the scar to make sure he got off all the skin around it. February was fabulous. We celebrated James birthday and Valentines on the same weekend since there's only a 2 day difference. I surprised James and we went out to eat then went to a movie, Enchanted, we both love that movie, then we stayed in a hotel that night. It was so nice getting away from the kids for a night and just relaxing and hanging out. In February we also had a ton of trouble with our Mary escaping out of the fenced in area we have them in. She was slipping out of her coller we had her in so we bought a harness, she slipped out of it in two minutes. So we had to keep her in the kennel for a day so we could figure out what to do, so we ended up getting a choke coller, that way the more tugging she does, the less she wants to. So it's done the job well so far. Andee is loving preschool and is talking more everyday. Nicholas is doing great with his Kids on the Move program and is also talking more each day. And as for James and I, we have decided to move back to Arizona. James is in the process right now of "transferring" through American Express so we'll see what happens. We have the truck reserved for March 31st, but obviously if he doesn't have a job ready for him by then, we will wait a little bit. But we're hoping to be able to buy a home so we don't have to worry about renting once we get to Arizona. So I will keep everyone posted on how those plans go.
